DO I HAVE TO COMMIT TO ADOPTION RIGHT AWAY?

No. We encourage you to first explore your options before making a commitment to an adoption plan. We are here to offer you support and the information you need to make an informed decision as to what is best for you and your unborn child.

We know that you need time to evaluate all of your options. The choice is ultimately yours and you should take as much time as you need to make the best decision for you and your unborn baby.

SHOULD I KEEP THE BABY?

Only you can really decide whether or not you will be able to keep and raise this baby. We are here to help you explore the option of adoption. We would never want to influence you to choose adoption, if that is not the best and most loving option for your unborn baby. If adoption is the most appropriate option for you at this time in your life, we will help you find a wonderful and loving home for your unborn baby.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THIS?

Creating an adoption plan for your unborn baby does not cost you any money at all. Not only will our office make all the arrangements and pay for your trip to Los Angeles for an initial meeting, we will also be able to help you with certain finances throughout your adoption process.

AM I READY TO BE A FULL-TIME PARENT?

Being a full time parent is just that, a full-time responsibility. One that can be even more challenging as a single mother or a mother to multiple children. This particular pregnancy may have been unplanned and it is likely that this is just not the right time in your life to be raising a baby. Whatever your circumstances are that have led you to explore adoption, if you choose adoption we are here to help you find a loving home for your unborn baby and to help you move forward in your own life.

WHAT WILL MY FAMILY SAY OR DO?

Your family and friends may have their own opinions regarding adoption and not everyone will necessarily support your decision. Your family and friends will hopefully understand that adoption is the best and most appropriate option for you and this baby and that you have chosen adoption out of love. During the duration of your adoption plan, you have the option of speaking with an adoption counselor who can offer suggestions for how to talk about your choose for adoption with your family.

HOW DO I LIVE THE LIFE I HAD PLANNED?

Often times birth mothers or birth parents are able to use the time they are in relationship with our office and adoptive parents as a way to begin rebuilding their lives. The emotional and financial support that is available to you while you have an adoption plan in place is support that you may not have had prior to this pregnancy. Everyone involved wants you to be able to move forward with your life in a positive direction and begin to live the wonderful life that you had planned for yourself.

WHAT ABOUT ABORTION?

Our office is here to provide you with another option for your pregnancy. If abortion or raising the baby are not the best options for you, adoption can be the most loving choice made for this baby. By choosing adoption, you have provided adoptive parents the opportunity to grow their family and a wonderful life for your unborn baby.
