Our Process

OUR PROCESS

We use a personalized approach based on your wants and needs.

Let’s get to know each other

Contact us to discuss your needs with one of our trained staff members. To get started, we’ll send you some forms to fill out regarding your social and medical history. We’ll ask you to provide a copy of your pregnancy verification stating your estimated due date.

MEET YOUR ADOPTIVE PARENTS

We will facilitate a two-day adoption session where you’ll have an in-depth meeting with potential parents of your child. First you’ll have a private one-on-one session with a professional adoption counselor to help you determine if adoption is the correct path for you. After that you’ll meet face-to-face with prospective adoptive parents who meet the criteria you have chosen for your child.

MAKE SOME PLANS WITH US

We’ll work with you establish a budget for medical and living expenses. You’ll have regular appointments with your doctor to ensure your health and that of your unborn baby. We’ll help you make sure you have medical coverage for your prenatal care and delivery. We encourage you to stay in contact with your adoptive parents through your pregnancy, and if you’d like, your adoption counselor.

THE BABY’S HERE!

We’ll work with you establish a budget for medical and living expenses. You’ll have regular appointments with your doctor to ensure your Inform our office and the adoptive parents immediately when you go into labor. You can visit with the baby, the adoption counselor, your social worker or attorney, your adoptive parents, and whomever you choose to help you feel comfortable and at ease with your decision at the time of birth. The final step is to sign consent documents after the birth of the baby.

If you looked up requirements for adoption (as if it were a job), strength would be required. The strength to give and the strength to receive. The strength to know that even though there is heartbreak, there is hope.

Had I loved him any less -one ounce less- he would be with me now. My love for him was the only thing that could enable me to break my own heart.
